Blythe was the subject of one of the first digital paintings I did and decided to try another. The first was nice but this time I wanted to use Procreate and give it a richer, redder colour palette. I got better at blending it seems in Procreate, I think. I also wanted plenty of space around her and fill the canvas with her making her seem smaller which, to me matched the pose.

This is quite lovely. It feels like a portrait of a grand actress of some sort, but updated, made more for today. The flowing red velvet gown is very classic, and the background, too add a touch of class. Well done as always seems to be the case.
Thanks Wig! My previous drawing of her from prom behind and more dramatic, believe it or not. I think I handled the dress better in that one but doing this in Procreate went much smoother than the previous colour attempts.
