Illustration: 85 Clinton Street

The family house, now sold. I wanted to honour the place in some way I could. So many memories there with my parents I will miss. Drawn in procreate.

Wow, that's gotta be harsh, Vince. Bravo for tackling something like that. It's a really nice remembrance.

I like the series and this seemed a good edition. I am getting tired of people telling me I should add dimension by showing some of the side of the house, it's not what I am going for with this style.

I will never tell you that. I like them as is.

I can imagine you suggesting that for a specific image you think might profit from more dimension. I think what bugs me is when I am told it by others is because they seem to think I hadn't thought of it or I 'forgot" there was third dimension or something. I REALLY like this look for some reason. It has a sort model railroad look or maybe a fantasy illustration feel applied just to random everyday houses.

For what it's worth, here's the guy I was talking to you about: all straight on just like you're doing. Don't listen to those non-artists!

Wow! That is really very much what I am doing, but a lot better! I am so glad you sent the link! It's not just me being weird... it's also someone else being weird!
